Seattle Public Library, July 2011 |
Today’s
NYT architectural review of Rem Koolhaas’ CCTV Headquarters in Beijing prompts this post. I too was impressed with his work in China but just this week found his 2004 Seattle Public Library to be an even a more stunning piece. Best of all- because it’s a library- it’s a very accessible building. I took about three hours to marvel in it and you can, too. It’s not to be missed on your next visit to Seattle.
